    About DC Electrical Training

Kit Wickenkamp, DC Electrical Training's owner and trainer, is an ASE Master Tech of over 30 years, specializing in DC electrical systems. He has worked on Boeing 747 airplanes, Coast Guard boats, construction equipment, ag equipment, manufacturing equipment, generating plants, high performance vehicles and almost every brand of passenger car and truck built in the last seventy years.

Prior to establishing DC Electrical Training, he worked in the auto electrical field for over 10 years, then owned and operated his own repair facility for over 20 years. In addition to operating his own shop, since 1996 he has conducted training sessions on a contract basis for various organizations, including in-house training courses for heavy duty equipment dealers Smith Tractor in Kent, WA and Hessell Tractor in Albany, OR.

He has taught general enrollment technicians' training sessions sponsored by Clark College in Vancouver, WA. as well as training for the EMC Association in Portland, OR. He has also taught DC electrical diagnostics and repair courses for the Idaho Department of Education and classes at North Idaho College and Lewis-Clark State College.

He has been a certified ASE Master Technician since 1975, has served on the Lewis & Clark State College Automotive Technology Advisory Board since 1987, and frequently chaired the committee for the Idaho state-wide VICA competition for automotive technology students.

In 2001, he established DC ELectrical Training, and since then has taught classes not only for his own company, but also in conjunction with American Trainco, one of the largest industrial training companies in the US. Since then, he has taught all over the US, from California to Virginia. Satisfied customers have invited him back to their facilities for further training sessions, again and again.

If you would like references, contact us and we will put you in touch with some of our satisfied customers.

Mr. Wickenkamp also writes occasional columns for The Epoch Times newspaper, Toronto edition, on automotive topics. He is a long standing member of the IATN Technians's Network and a certified trainer for the Mobile Air Conditioning Society.

Being a family owned business, the marketing, Powerpoint presentations, manuals, and web presence are handled by his wife Carol, and daughter Adrienne.
